Mobile app development in Kenya

Android and iPhone apps from one Flutter codebase, built for how people in Kenya actually use their phones: budget Android devices, patchy data, and M-Pesa for everything.

We build and run our own apps, like UniMarket, the campus marketplace for Maseno University students. The same two founders who quote your app are the ones who build it.

Built for Kenyan users

Android and iPhone, one build

Flutter gives you both apps from the same code, so every feature ships to both at once and you pay for one build.

Smooth on budget phones

We test on the kind of low-cost Android phones your users actually carry, not just flagship devices.

Works on bad data

Offline-first where it matters: the app keeps working with a weak signal and syncs when it can.

Questions

How much does it cost to build an app in Kenya?

It depends on what the app has to do, so we quote each app individually after a short call. As a guide, our app and SaaS projects start from about KES 150,000. A clear written scope keeps the price fixed.

Why Flutter?

One codebase gives you both an Android and an iPhone app, so you pay for one build instead of two. Flutter apps also run smoothly on the budget Android phones most Kenyans use.

Should I build for Android or iPhone first?

In Kenya, most of your users will be on Android, so we usually launch on the Play Store first. With Flutter the iPhone version comes from the same code when you are ready.

Can the app take M-Pesa payments?

Yes. We integrate M-Pesa STK Push through Safaricom's Daraja API, with payments confirmed on the server before anything is unlocked.

Do you publish the app to the Play Store and App Store?

Yes. We prepare the store listing and handle the submission under your own developer account, so the app is yours.

Who owns the app?

You do. The source code, the store listings and the backend are all in your name.
