What is a WhatsApp chatbot?
An automated assistant on your business WhatsApp number. It answers customers instantly, walks them through ordering or booking, takes M-Pesa payment, and hands the chat to a person when it should.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
Yes. A bot runs on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, not the ordinary WhatsApp Business app. You need a phone number that is not already on a WhatsApp app and a verified Meta Business account. We set it up with you.
Can customers pay inside the chat?
Yes. The bot sends an M-Pesa STK Push prompt to the customer's phone and confirms the payment with Safaricom before it sends the receipt, ticket or order confirmation.
What does it cost to run?
Meta charges per conversation for some message types, and prices change, so we check the current rates for your case. Replies to customers who message you first are the cheapest kind. On top of that you either buy the bot outright or rent it monthly from us.
